ANGLE FIRE

Thomas and the boys are off to Angle Fire New Mexico for a dirt bike race this whole weekend. They are going with a friend of Thomas. They have practice on Saturday and then race at 8 am on Sunday so I wont know any results until later in the day. The weather is finally getting nice which means no rain. Daisy and I are not sure what we are going to do while the boys are gone. I want to work in my flower beds and finish painting the house fixing the over spray. Let's hope the weather holds up like they say it will.

I Am Back!!!!!

Oh boy have I ever let the ball drop on this one. SORRY! So much has happened in the last year but I just can't remember all of it so I will just let you know whats going on with us now. Alex and Anthony are done with school, they got out the 21st of May. Alex will now be a sophomore and Anthony is now going to be in 8th grade. Boy do they ever grow up fast. Alex is taller than I am. Anthony is now on a huge growing spurt also. They are both very busy with the dirt biking. Anthony just had a broken arm in March. But he is back and going strong. Thomas is very busy with work and all and doing the dirt bike things also. I swear they are never home anymore always out dirt scooting as Alex likes to call it. Daisy is just the same. I have been losing weight and going to the gym. I am enjoying this but hate having to keep buying clothes to fit. But at least we are going down in sizes not up anymore. Thomas sister and her kids and Johnny are coming to visit June 22-July 1st. That will be nice to see the family. We painted our house for mothers day. It went from that 1960's green to a nice light grey and navy blue. I will get some pictures up on here soon. I am still waiting to finish the touch ups fromthe over spray but we have had nothing but RAIN. and when it finally does dry out for me to go out and work on yup you guessed it RAIN!!!!! So I may just take the final picures just to show you and just dont look at the overspray.... Ok off to do somethings.......

Update of the Summer so far........

It has been such a long time since I have posted. We started out the summer with Alex having shoulder surgery as many of you know. He is doing well with that hopefully we can start on some therapy pretty soon here. Thomas and Anthony have been going out on their bikes alot, as much as they can. They ride up in the mountains now that it is to hot down here in the valley. Thomas took the boys and one of their friends over to Lakewood Colorado 2 weeks ago for them to watch the Nationals motor cross race, they had a BLAST!!!!! they loved every minute of it. For the 4th Thomas and Anthony went up on the Grand Mesa to help build more mountain bike trails, so Alex and I had a great 4th spent with the Larsen family we had a wonderful meal the kids swam in the pool and then we watched great fireworks. What more could you ask for. August we are going to Lincoln City, Oregon to meet up with Thomas sister and family. We are taking Daisy Mae with us and Alex and Anthony are bringing Ariana and Zach. They should all have a great time. Thomas has been very busy with work, and I am just as busy but it's taking it's toll on my feet again so I have had to back down to some normal hours of working. I have been floating in the pool and working on my tan. That's all that's been going on, nothing to exciting... I will try to update more often.......

Alex's Surgery May 28th 2008

This is the day after Alex had his surgery on his shoulder, he spent about a week sleeping in the recliner. He has been in the sling around the clock since then, Monday July 7th we are suppose to go in and see if he can get out of the sling and then the physical therapy starts. He has been a pretty good sport about it but it has been a crappy summer But we are making the best of it.

This is them trying to eat donut holes that are tied to string, this is after we had balloon's covered with shaving cream and the were trying to spit Cheetos on them.
Yup Anthony, Alex Airana, Hannah and Zach all had to take a dip in the pool to get all the shaving cream off them, you can see Thomas on the side they got him good.... Mind you it was a cool day and there was no sun out and the pool temp was about 60. They had the best time. We had water gun fights , water Balloon fights, bubbles, Food and fun. We had about 20 kids it was a great way to end the year. Alex is now a Freshman and Anthony is a 7th grader. As many of you know Alex will be having shoulder surgery on the 28th I will get on here and let everyone know how he did, he wants us to take pictures. YEAH RIGHT!!!!!!!

DISTRICTS & Student of the month

There he goes.....Well Redlands WON Districts..Last night they had their special dinner and they got really nice trophies. Alex had a really fun time again this year, he ran 100 meter hurdles, which he did very well in, he started off the season doing the mile run, but his asthma started to act up too much for that so he switched to the 800 meter and did very well he placed 7th in overall for that out of 30 plus kids in this event alone, that is 8th grade boys. He also ran the 200 meter dash and the relay. He did very well in those he came in 1st in some of his heats. Next year we are off to High School track.....Yes He will be a FRESHMAN!!!!!!!!!
Well her we have it Anthony was chosen for STUDENT OF THE MONTH!!!!! We are all so very proud. They had a special Breakfast for them. He was picked out of over 300 plus kids, in his grade, him and 2 other 6th graders. The rest are 7th and 8th graders. If you don't know Anthony is the 3rd from the right on the bottom, he is getting so grown up these days. I will have 2 teenagers in the house come this September. He is doing VERY well in all his classes also, he is 2 tenths of a point away from making the Honor Roll again, we still have time......

Look at the beauty They just finished it today they all put up over 200 feet of 3 rail slip fence plus they came back and put up wire fencing to keep Daisy in the yard, it look great now we just have to pick up all the mess from it, we have been ripping up lots in the yard this year, you see we started with the outside porch now we have the fence and I am going to plant lilac bushed up alongside of them, who knows what else we can get into this spring. You will just have to wait and see..

They had a really great time. I ddi not go they went out and camped out there and it was CRAZY I stayed home with Daisy Mae Plus I do not go out to watch this and I am very happy I ddi not since both my boys took a pretty good crash and we all know I would have been the mom out running and trying to stop the race, but they got up and went on Alex got 3rd and I think Anthony got 7th or 9th I can't remember.

CATCH UP

Yes we are now on to Track and Field. We had a nice Easter, we just kinda hung out nothing to special, Alex went over to his girlfriends for dinner and Thomas went for a bike ride. Thomas went away for his Bday this year him a some of his friends went to Sedona, Arizona for some male bonding time and rode mountain bikes. They had a great time. While Thomas was gone Alex had a little accident at school while playing football and broke his nose, he is doing fine now but was not able to do all the things he wanted on his first track meet. He did the 4 man relay and placed 4th and then he did the mile run and also placed 4th, on his next meet he will be able to do hurdles also. Not much else has been going on I do think that is enough for right now.
